Templates help you standardize content across the team while still leaving room for personalization.
Why templates matter
- Provide consistent structure and tone for repeatable content types.
- Make it easy for anyone to produce content that feels on-brand.
- Speed up campaign launches by reducing “blank page” time.
Templates to create first
We recommend creating default templates for:
- Marketing Email
- SDR Email
- LinkedIn Social Post
- Blog Post
- Case Study
How to build a template
There are two approaches, depending on how much structure you want Tofu to replicate:
1. Tone only
- Pull multiple examples that “sound right.”
- The system learns the voice but generates fresh structures each time.
- Best for: LinkedIn posts, blogs.
2. Tone + structure
- Provide a strong single example.
- The system replicates both tone and structure (sections, length, flow).
- Best for: SDR emails, case studies.
Variations
Variations are optional — create them when you know you’ll need them. Examples:
- Blog Post – Advisory
- Email – EU – British English
- Landing Page – APAC

How to use templates
Best practices
- Keep defaults simple.
- Use clear names (Blog Post – Long Form, SDR Email – Default).
- Review quarterly and archive unused templates.
- Start small — five defaults is plenty.
